Lemonaide Day '09 (Saturday, May 2, 2009) was a giving year! Even though there was rain on and off during the day, the Alexandria kids still came through and we raised over $7,000 to be split between Coats for Kids and the ALIVE Child Development Center! Although we did not raise as much as last year, in these tough times, we consider this amount to be great and are proud to donate the money and help kids in Alexandria any way we can. Because we are facing such rough times, we, and more importantly, the children of Alexandria, would greatly appreciate your donations and support in 2010. WE DID GREAT IN '08!
Lemonaide Day '08 (Saturday, April 26, 2008) was a record breaking Lemonaide Day! We raised more than ever before, exceeding our goal of $12,000 by a lot. Lemonaide Day 2008 raised just over $14,000! The money was split and given to two charities. We are so proud to give each of them a check for $7,000!
We presented a $7,000 to Coats for Kids and to the Center for Alexandria's Children on Thursday, June 19. Both charities were extremely grateful. We are so excited to see the money go to great use; Coats for Kids mentioned that our $7,000 donation will provide coats for about 90% of Alexandria's children.
